so this commercial is being taken down and off of tv after Cheerios got complaints from people about how this commercial is promoting bi-racial families. as a child coming from a bi-racial family i’m actually astonished and disgusted. it’s 2013 people, get a grip.

I saw this on TV and, like, not even trying to pull some “I’m colorblind” bullshit, I did not even really notice they were biracial. Like I noticed, but it didn’t occur to me to find that weird. Why is it such a big deal?????
This is so cute! Bigots are why we can’t have nice things.
General Mills isn’t pulling the ad due to controversy, according to Today.com. They blocked comments on their Youtube channel because they didn’t want racist comments being displayed next to their content.
